About Online Assessments

The most modern educational & employment sector demands online assessment to minimize the manpower involved and reduce the amount of paper work. During the past decade most of the private and government exam bodies decided to go online for their employee recruitment to alleviate the process and reduce the manpower in paper based assessment. The main objective of online computer based test (CBT) is to efficiently evaluate the candidate through a fully automated system that not only saves lot of time but also gives fast result. To achieve this result, there is a need for online test centers in every part of our cities so that the candidates can reach their nearby center with less cost and attend the assessment in a most comfortable environment.

Every evaluation system – academic, corporate, or government - requires exams to assess the skills acquired by its employees/students. These exams may be held annually, but the challenges of managing the process are similar across all industries. With an increase in the number of examinations conducted each year, establishments seek ways to manage the scale, volume, and cost of assessments. An E Assessment (online examination) is a timed, supervised, summative assessment conducted using each candidate's own computer running a standardized operating system/software. Such examinations have advantages over paper-based exams, and can include new multi-media, simulation and software test items which gives higher validity in respect of professional work practice. E Exams form a distinct use of technology where network connected computers is started up (booted) from a centralized server. Because each computer is booted through network, every candidate uses the same exam interface and application programs, irrespective of those installed on the internal hard drive. Evaluation is a simple process as most of the work takes place real-time in the examination server itself.
